• Backrest Elevation: Raises the head section from flat to 0–80° for semi-fowler, fowler, and high-fowler positions — essential for respiratory patients, post-surgical patients, and tube-feeding
• Knee Break (Gatch): Raises the knee section to flex the patient's knees, reducing pressure on the sacrum and improving comfort during bed rest
